SWORN ENEMY: 'A Place of Solace' Video Posted Online

March 20, 2008

New York's SWORN ENEMY is currently annihilating the masses across North America with EARTH CRISIS and TERROR and will continue its unrelenting schedule this April as direct support to labemates DIVINE HERESY. FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW (Blackmarket/Metal Blade),WITH BLOOD COMES CLEANSING (Victory) and DANCE CLUB MASSACRE (Blackmarket/Metal Blade) round out the bill.

A video for "A Place of Solace", the first single from the new album "Maniacal", was recently shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky (GWAR, THE RED CHORD). The video made its exclusive online debut through the Headbanger's Blog today and premieres on MTV2 this Saturday night. Sal (vocals) states: "We hooked up with the amazing director David Brodsky (GWAR, THE RED CHORD) for this video and are stoked with the end result. The location was an abandoned psychiatric ward, so I guess you can say it pretty much fit what we were looking for. The storyline is loosely based on a father and the son that have done wrong to each other, and both, in order to achieve their 'solace,' believe that they'd be better off without the other rightly or wrongly. We hope you enjoy the madness."

Watch the video below. (Note: The video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.)
